The Virtual Global Taskforce, a multi-national organisation set up to tackle internet child abuse, has won it’s first conviction in a UK court. Twenty-one year old media student Lee Costi was recently sentenced to nine years by Nottingham Crown Court after being reported by a girl who became concerned after having a chat room conversation with him.
During the trial, Costi admitted to having met two other underage girls for sex and to two counts of making indecent images and the possession of more than 40 indecent images of children.
