Ben Edwards, publisher of the Economist, has just finished a presentation in which he revealed some of the Economist’s social media plans. The most interesting aspect of social media for the Economist, according to Edwards, is the reader to reader interactivity – but they must find a way to do this without having to hire dozens of moderators, instead putting some of the policing into the hands of the users themselves.
