"Social media agency Yomego has launched a service to measure brands' online reputation and provide recommendations for improvement."

A web hosting company has said it shut down a blogging platform that was home to over 70,000 bloggers because a "link to terrorist material" and an al-Qaeda "hit list" was posted to the site.

"One year on, Mr Gosier and the not-for-profit groups Ushahidi are about to release SwiftRiver, a suite of tools that can intelligently crunch, process, filter, and verify the torrent of real-time news that spills on to the web on a daily basis and peaks during a crisis."
