The Mobile Data Association’s website, text.it , is a good source of information on the UK mobile phone industry and includes a brief history of SMS texting in the UK and an index of text messaging in the news . Want to know how many texts were sent in a particular year, when trials of voting via text message started, etc then this is a good resource. (Thanks to Smartmobs for pointing me there)
