About Nancy: Nancy is an internationally recognised expert in understanding and practicing online group facilitation of distributed work, learning and community groups – work which requires her to fluidly take on the roles of presenter, writer, teacher, coach, facilitator, and rapporteur. In research conducted by Jenny Ambrozek and Joe Cothrel, Nancy was listed as one of the "top influencers" in the industry. In March 2006, Nancy posted a guest blogger entry here at cybersoc.com which is a good introduction to her work and thoughts.

[Please note: We have to spend £100 on alcohol -OR- come up with £50 for the room, neither of which should be difficult as we expect around 20 – 30 people and we all know how much e-minties enjoy a pint or two at the end.]
