The BBC has created a button that you can add to your blog in a show of support for BBC Reporter Alan Johnston who was abducted in Gaza on the 12th of March.
The button is being added to all BBC News Blogs from today and links to the online petition that over 35,000 have signed, urging for Alan’s safe release.
To add the button to your blog, just copy and paste the code below into your blog’s HTML. You could add it to an individual blog post, or, even better, to your blog’s sidebar.

My thoughts and sympathies are with Mr. Johnston and his family. However I cannot help but hope that maybe this is a lesson to the BBC that the problems Israel faces with terrorists is more complicated than they make out in their programmes.
